Dr. Di Ivy Wu is a board-certified pediatric dentist and she takes Kulshan Pediatric Dentistry as her second home!

She earned her first Dental degree and a Master’s degree in Endodontics in China, followed by a PhD in Dental Public Health from The University of Hong Kong. During her PhD study she went on numerous outreach dental services in elderly homes and kindergartens, where she found her calling for serving the children. In 2013, she completed a Master of Science degree and certificate in Pediatric Dentistry at The University of Michigan. She then joined the faculty and served as an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at The University of Texas Health School of Dentistry at Houston, teaching in both undergraduate and Graduate Program in Pediatric Dentistry for seven years. Aside from her academic interest, she is passionate about patient care and community service. She maintained her private practice throughout the years and also cared for patients in underserved community at the Texas Children’s Hospital Southwest Center for Children and Women in Houston.

Besides English, she is also fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin. She enjoys ballet and music, is an ardent member at her church and the choir. She loves outdoor activities, and just about everything in the Pacific Northwest!
