Dr.  Katie received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine.  Through volunteering in local schools and with children residing in a nearby homeless shelter, Dr. Katie realized that to her, every day spent working with children was a good day.   She completed her residency in pediatric dentistry at the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, where she received extensive training in treating children with complex medical and behavioral needs.  Dr. Katie is a Board-Certified Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and continues to educate herself on the most current techniques to provide the safest and best quality care for her patients.  In her free time, Dr. Katie loves baking and cooking, exercising, cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide, reading, and hitting the tennis courts.
